As a Joe Gear family, we strive to work as a team to support causes close to our hearts. This October, we joined companies across the country in observing Breast Cancer Awareness Month at the Joe Gear Companies! In the First Annual Joe Gear Celebration and the Second Annual MTP Drivetrain Celebration, the last week in October was a special time for our companies. On Wednesday, October 30th a memorial balloon release was held at each of our companies where our team members bought and released pink balloons for the special ceremony in honor of our loved ones who have fought or still fight the battle against breast cancer.
With a new design for our Joe Gear Company shirts featuring the iconic pink ribbon, our family of employees purchased tee shirts and hoodies, with all proceeds going to support the American Cancer Society. We stand in support of the women in our lives and pray that the Lord provide healing, growth and peace to all.
“We live in a world full of survivors. Constantly reminding us there is hope. Hope is the thing that perches in the soul and sings the tunes without the words and never stops at all. Together we must all stand tall, remembering not to lose faith, because in our darkest hour we can always rely on God’s amazing Grace. Today we are supporting the survivors, and honoring the taken. May this balloon be a symbol to remind you that there is always hope to be found in the heart of God. He will be there through thick and through thin to show us that life is too precious to let cancer win.” – Reading created by Joe Gear’s own Charli LaCaze
