We completely understand that price is very important for anyone trying to operate a heavy truck in today’s competitive environment and that is why we believe that getting you back on the road fast is the way to make sure you save the most money. Our best clients are also concerned about price and they have found that by having the repair done fast and correct the first time is the best way to gain the most value due to the huge cost of downtime. Our promise is to create the most value for you by getting you on the road fast and keeping your there.
We are experts at this since we do it all the time. We sell and replace more clutches than anyone in the area. Just last year we averaged $200,000 in new clutch sales at each of our locations. With this experience comes quality and speed. With our large inventory of new Eaton clutches we can usually install your clutch in the same day. Being an Authorized Eaton distributor means that we have the quality, experience, and trust backed by one of the best OEM’s in the industry.
Making sure the flywheel is in good condition by resurfacing or “turning” it will ensure that your clutch will be able to have a longer lifespan as a result of not having to connect with an uneven flywheel. Small cuts have begun to appear in the flywheel, which, in time, will make it harder to switch gears, as the clutch will begin to slip and not grab as well. Because you will already have the clutch and flywheel accessible during this job, it is highly recommended that you have the flywheel turned no matter what condition it is in. This will save time and effort later, when you will have two finely tuned parts and will not have to repeat the job or replace another clutch because the flywheel destroyed it.
That is a great question and one that many of our clients have had. This feeling on being attracted to the low price of a pullout is only natural and some of our best clients that felt that way at first, but to them it all came down total value. After the replacing the pullout 3 times in 5 years only to save 15% on the cost of each pullout compared to the remanufactured unit from us, which will last for years to come.
Our remanufactured transmissions are completely torn down, thoroughly cleaned, all the parts are inspected for wear and future life, even remotely worn out parts are replaced with new parts, all consumables (seals, rings, etc) are automatically replaced, and it is rebuilt with the highest care by certified, experienced, trained technicians and backed by our No-Hassle warranty. After all, your blown up transmission was a good running pull out just last week before it blew up.
A new transmission or differential consists of brand new parts and castings. A remanufactured unit is disassembled, cleaned, inspected, and uses the parts that are still in great condition, including the castings, and adds new parts as needed. Then it is tested, painted, and ready to be sold with a warranty at a much better price than new.
REBUILT
To rebuild is to recondition by cleaning, inspecting and replacing severely worn or broken parts. Serviceable parts are reused within the manufacturer’s acceptable wear limits. The quality of rebuilt components varies widely and many come with only a short term warranty.
REMANUFACTURED
To remanufacture is to make as closely to new as possible. All core material – head and block castings, crankshaft, camshaft and rods – are carefully inspected, checked against original equipment measured specifications for correct dimensional tolerances and precisely machined. Replacement parts are new or requalified to meet exacting standards and tolerances. Testing is performed to manufacturer measured specifications and original production standards.
